HackNotice – get alerts when your accounts are hacked

With HackNotice, a service where you can register for free since a few days, you get hacking alerts about your own social media accounts and leaks of your own user data on the internet.

First of all to use the service, you have to register on the website or in the Android/iPhone app. You can also use it with the Google Chrome Plugin.
After you have successfully verified your account data and e-mail addresses, a watchdog starts its work. It checks whether the data or accounts have been hacked or even published on the Internet.
If this is the case, there is more information about the attack and also recommended procedures for further securing the affected account.

You will see a short introduction tour on the site when you are logged in the first time. Also the website will inform you immediately about possible problems in a very clear dashboard.
There you can solve the problems directly and see what happened to the account data.
Besides an overview of many industries and their hacks or leaks, you can also fine-tune the settings a little. Therefore there is more information about the functionality in the knowledge base.

This video gives you a good explanation of the service:

The operators of the website see themselves as such: “HackNotice has the mission of bringing real-time threat intelligence to people. This is a service built for individuals, to give people direct access to threat intelligence. It provides real-time monitoring, alerting, and security recovery for hacks (breaches, data exposures, ransomware attacks, etc.), and identity leaks.” (https://blog.hacknotice.com/2018/07/11/announcing-hacknotice/)

It pays off in any case to use this free service. If you already have experience with it and get hacking alerts, I look forward to receiving feedback in the comments.
