New Azure Regions in Europe available

Today is an exciting day when it comes to cloud computing. Microsoft has announced that the new Azure datacenter regions in Europe – Germany, France and Switzerland – are now available for customers.

In Germany there are now 4 new regions available. Besides Germany, 12 additional regions in France, Switzerland and UK are online. Also two more have been announced for Norway as well.

Service availability and Security

At this time, Microsoft Azure is already available at the new locations. Also Office 365, Dynamics 365 and Power Platform will be available soon. That means, Microsoft can spread the services to more than 54 Regions globally. You fill find the full service availability in detail on this site.

On the other hand it is also easier for Microsoft to comply with data protection requirements. Therefore Azure offers a variety of security standards and certifications to protect customer data.
